Community
Outreach is the strength of
LEI. Till date 12 primary
eye care centers Located in
several part of Nepal (ranging
from Eastern Nepal to Far-western
Nepal) are functioning successfully
under the technical &
financial support of LEI.
In the base hospital, several
outreach programs are being
conducted to reach to the
underprivileged and un-reached
marginalized Nepalese population.
Few includes, DST (Diagnostic
Screening and Treatment) Camp,
Surgical Eye Camp, Pediatric
Eye Camp, School Screening
Programs, Community
based Training Programmes, P
R (Public Relation) Activities,
Community Based Research.

PECCs
With the noble objective of
serving remote population,
in the year 1986, LEI started
expanding its wings as primary
Eye Care Center in Palpa which
was later on upgraded into
Lion's Lacoul Secondary Eye
Hospital in 2003.Butwal
Lions Eye care Center. By now,
its has already established
primary eye care center in Parasi,Gulmi,Arghakhanchi,Kapilvastu,Pyuthan,Taplegung,Doti,Sankhuwashaba, Tehrathum
and Dhankuta.
LEI is also providing technical
support to Bharatpur Eye Hospital,
Bharatpur.
